SCM Inspection and Maintenance Recertification Course

Course Description:  Why is SCM Inspection and Maintenance Recertification Needed? The SCM Inspection and Maintenance Recertification Course is intended to provide certified stormwater inspection and maintenance professional with an update on changes to regulations, maintenance requirements, inspection criteria, as well as new technologies available in the past three years. There is no exam for the Recertification course.

Course Locations:  November 26th, 2024 from 9am until Noon (Zoom)

Who Should Attend:  This course is required for certified stormwater inspection and maintenance professionals every three years to maintain their certification. To qualify for the Recertification course, your SCM I&M certification must be current or have expired within the last 12 months. Participants whose certification expired over 12 months ago must retake the regular SCM I&M course and past the exam. There is no exam with the Recertification course.

RECERTIFICATION COURSE GOALS: 
     • Update on how stormwater affects water quality and regulations associated with it

     • Update on stormwater control measures used in Tennessee and how they function.

     • Update on the inspection and maintenance requirements of each stormwater control measure.

Professional Development Hours: This course provides 6 professional development hours.

Course fees:  $200.00

Registration:  Registration is normally limited to 30 persons. Early registration and payment are strongly encouraged. You must have your registration in 5 working days prior to the workshop to be assured a space (see registration form for deadlines). To register complete the online registration form. Cancellation Policy:  In the event you are unable to attend the workshop you registered for, attendee substitutions are allowed and encouraged. We will issue full refunds for cancellations made five (5) working days prior to the workshop Due to heavy demand for limited workshop seats, no refund will be issued thereafter and no-show registrants will not be refunded. Requested transfers may be made to another scheduled workshop for a $25 transfer fee charge. The transfer request must be submitted 48 hours prior to the course.

Recertification confirmation: Successful course completion and Recertification are achieved after receipt of registration fee and course attendance.
